We recently had John Anderson the Sales Manager for Moon Air out to my grandmothers residence. I'm not sure why the competition isn't handling their customers like Moon Air does, but they've got it down pat. Clean look, very presentable and took his time in presenting the material and listened to what we wanted. Found stair switch for furnace had internally failed, replaced switch, furnace is now working normally at this time.
Club service gas heat, flue pipe system needs to be replaced.
Did check on gas furnace, checked parts and operations, temp rise across heat exchanger 35Â°F, air filter had just been changed, blower wheel and housing were clean and blower motor was drawing 4 amps, cleaned flame sensor and inspected ignition system, voltage enhancement system was within manufacturers specs, cleaned burners and checked gas pressures, system is working normally at this time.
Club service gas heat with A/C, inducer fan amps 1.6, glow bar .7, indoor fan 4.1, flame current 2.3 uamps, removed and cleaned sensor now at 2.7 uamps. Test ran outdoor system, compressor run load amps factory spec. 14.1, actual 7.2, outdoor fan full load amps factory spec. 1.1, actual. 8, voltage enhancement system factory spec 45/5, actual 44.7/4.9 operation within factory specifications at this time. Installed customer supplied air filter.
Club service, heat and A/C, test ran system in heat, inducer fan amps. 7, glow bar .5, indoor fan 2.7, flame current 2.1 uamps, 41 deg delta t filter is new. Checked system in cooling, compressor run load amps factory spec 14.1, actual 7.8, outdoor fan full load amps factory spec 1.5, actual 1.1, voltage enhancement system factory spec 45/5, actual 44.9/4.9, operation within factory specifications at this time.
Water pipe leaking into the duct work, a/c system is normal. Recommend they they call a plumber asap.
Did check on air conditioning system. 30 degree temperature split across indoor coil. Voltage enhancement system for indoor blower motor is within, manufacturers specs, changed air filter, condensate removal system was working properly, all systems were working
Leak on hot water outlet for the water heater, removed and repaired, also repaired flue pipe, checked system for leaks, ok at this time.
No A/C, checked system and found that the voltage enhancement system had failed, factory spec 45/5, actual 0/3.9, installed replacement and test ran system, suction 140, liquid 310, 1/4 of the outdoor heat exchange system is very dirty and the customer is going to clean it.
Did an inspection on the furnace and air conditioning systems. Main combustion chamber in furnace has failed, rivets that hold the chamber together have popped out and are laying on the secondary heat transfer media. Also the collector box for combustion condensate is leaking and has been for some time. It appears that the seal has failed or its do to a screw that has been rusted out and the collector box is no longer being held tight enough in that area to prevent condensate from leaking out. Furnace does go through normal start up, ignition cycle, and run cycles normally at this time. In the airconditioning cycle, we are getting g a 21 deg temperature split across indoor coil, condensate removal system properly working, blower operation normal, voltage enhancement system in outdoor unit is way under manufacturers specs and should be replaced as soon as possible. Found leak at Schrader valve on heat transfer media, tightened Schrader and put a cap with a rubber seal on. Broughtvrefrigerant charge up to manufacturers recommended levels. System is now working normally at this time.
Very small pin hole on the hot water supply line, made a temporary repair room stop the drip.
Indoor unit supply is 55 with a 71 return and 16 delta. Static pressure supply is 0.24 and return is -0.04. Voltage enhancement system read 20 with a factory setting of 20. Blower wheel a little dirty, spins without restriction and the bearing is tight. Filter recently changed by customer. Both sides of coil and pan is clean. Cleaned EZ trap and drain line with brush. Checked heat exchanger for safety. Outdoor unit voltage enhancement system read 5/44.3 with a factory setting of 5/45 and is within allowable fault. The FLA was 0.6 with a factory setting of 0.95. The RLA is 6.1 with a factory setting of 14.1. Cleaned coil, exterior and interior. Checked disconnect for safety and system normal operation at this time. Upon going to basement to do cleaning, noticed sitting water atop water heater. Water is dripping from 2 copper joints see photos for detail.
No A/C, checked system and found that the voltage enhancement system had failed, factory spec 40/5, actual 0/0, installed replacement, in addition also replaced the gateway, test ran, compressor run load amps factory spec 12.8, outdoor fan full load amps. 7, suction 140, liquid 330.
Follow up from the last visit, checked system for the Traning Room and found that the pumping system is shorted to ground, unit is 10 years old and out of warranty, do not recommend any repairs. Storage room system, unit is 16 years old and has obsolete coolant R22, and is low on charge, leaking from the indoor heat exchange system, do not recommend repair due to age.
Ac club service getting low airflow changed blower speed from low to high getting a 18 degree delta filter recently changed by customer. Blower amps 2.9 voltage enhancement system read within factory spec. Checked outdoor system suction line cold liquid line warm cleaned outdoor coil operation normal at this time
Club service A/C checked system for operation, delta t 20 degrees, compressor run load amps factory spec 21.8, actual 13.7, outdoor fan full load amps factory spec 1.4, actual 1.1, voltage enhancement system was replaced last year, recommend charged media air filter.

Found the water safety system had failed and needed to be replaced, replaced system, a/c is now working normally at this time.
Found that common wire from t stat had a short causing circuit board fuse to trip. Removed wire which is not needed because t stat has batteries for the display. System is working normally at this time
