Review of Moon Air Inc.

We recently had John Anderson the Sales Manager for Moon Air out to my grandmothers residence. I'm not sure why the competition isn't handling their customers like Moon Air does, but they've got it down pat. Clean look, very presentable and took his time in presenting the material and listened to what we wanted. He worked with us and his only modus operandi was to make sure we receive the right system to service the home. The pricing presented was very affordable and we are sure Moon Air is the company we want to do business with. Thank you John for your time, energy, and passion to provide us with the right solution for our heating needs.

Five-year-old Goodman heat pump. The outdoor ambient temp was approximately 65. Removed the extremely dirty air filter and told the customer to buy more and replace them more often. The current one was from our previous visit in December 2018. Cleaned the EZ Trap safety sensor and the indoor coil, and purged the condensation pipe with CO2 to prevent clogs. The cool supply air was 55 degrees and the room temperature return air was 71 for a Delta T of 16. Measured a.normal 242 Volts through the 60-amp circuit breaker, 1.6 Amperes on the air circulation system, and the latter's voltage enhancer had a correct uF charge. Verified the wiring and circuit board were in good condition. The refrigerant pumping system's run amps were 5.15 (RLA is 12), the start amps were 4.25, and the air exhaust system's amps were .55 (FLA is .7). Cleaned the electrical compartment, and confirmed the outdoor coil was clean and the defrost board, blades, disconnect, wiring, and voltage distributor were in good co

Four-year-old York natural gas furnace. Removed the dirty air filter and told the customer to buy more and replace it more often. Measured three Amperes on the combustion exhaust system, 24 Volts on the barometric pressure and fuel distribution systems (the latter had a correct In-wg. pressure rating), .25 Amperes on the ignition system, and approximately 8.5 Amperes on the air circulation system. The latter correctly started approximately one minute after the flames ignited, and its voltage enhancer also had a correct uF charge. The warm supply air was 110 and the room temperature return air was 75 for a Delta T of 35. This is within the manufacturer's recommended rating. The rollout, limit, rectification (cleaned it), and barometric tubing (purged it with CO2 to prevent clogs) safety sensors all correctly extinguished the flames after being pulled from the circuit. Didn't detect a leak on the gas line, nor were any problems found with the combustion air and flue gas exhaust pipes. T
