Voltage enhancement system read 9.5 with a factory setting of 10 and is within allowable fault. Elements read 19.8 amps and turned on with auxiliary heat. Blower wheel was dirty, cleaned and blower wheel spins without restriction and the bearing is tight. Heating elements themselves were intact. Indoor coil a d ductwork looks ok. Board looked good with no burn marks and connections are tight. Cleaned EZ trap and checked filter. In heat mode with auxiliary heat the supply is 124 with a 80 return and delta. Emergency heat supply is 139, turned heat down, then back up, then off then on to test operations. System normal operations at this time. Outdoor unit voltage enhancement system read 4.9/34.1 with a factory setting of 5/35 and is within allowable fault. Condensor drain holes are clear.

No cooling service call. Upon arrival the thermostat was set to 74 but the room temperature was 83. The condenser's air exhaust system was running but the refrigerant pumping system wasn't. An amp reading showed zero on both the start and run wires even though the voltage enhancer was still good. The result was the same even with a new voltage enhancer. A resistance check on its windings showed the start winding failed. The refrigerant pumping system needs to be replaced. Due to the condenser's age this repair isn't recommended; only a system replacement.

Replaced the dirty filter with one provided by the customer. It had not been changed since our last visit in September 2018 and it needs to be replaced more often. The cool supply air was 50 degrees and the room temperature return air was 68 degrees for a Delta T of 18. Measured 7.2 Amperes and 120 Volts on the air circulation system, and its voltage enhancer had Purged the condensation pipe with CO2 and added some descaler to its U trap to prevent clogs. Verified the circuit board and wiring were in good condition. The air circulation compartment and indoor coil were clean. Cleaned the EZ Trap safety sensor and put some descaler in it to prevent clogs. The cool supply air was 48 degrees and the room temperature return air was 66 degrees for a Delta T of 18. Measured 1.5 Amperes on the air circulation system and its voltage enhancer had a correct uF charge. Didn't detect any leaks in the indoor coil, it was clean, and verified the circuit board and wiring were in good condition. The refrigerant pumping system's run amps were 5.4 (RLA is 13), the start amps were 4.7, and the air exhaust system's amps were .55 (FLA is 1.1). Cleaned the elec. compartment of dust and cobwebs, the voltage distributor had a normal 241 volts through it, the defrost board and wiring were in good condition, and the voltage enhancer had a correct uF charge. The disconnect was in good condition.
