Over price for 1 hour of work, ask other people what their opinion was about this, most said very over priced. I personally think the charge should have been $150.00 or less

Clay is the technician that usually is assigned to my place. He's always prompt and exceedingly helpful, giving me options so that I can choose the best option based on what I can afford and explains those options. As an aside and nothing to do with Clay but this particular problem started late on July 3rd so I'd called for a appointment. It was scheduled for the next day and then I was told it would cost $259, almost 3 times the regular rate despite the fact that I have a contract. Luckiiy the problem righted itself (temporarily) and I was able to reschedule but I was taken aback that when an emergency occurs a contract customer is treated no differently. I could understand an extra $50 or so but to be charged so much more for an emergency seems excessive. As I said this is unrelated to my satisfaction wit Clay.

Joe was great. He serviced our three units helping to keep them in good working order. I am not happy about the new contract pricing that almost doubles our present costs. I will be looking at other options to service our three units. We are retired and on a fixed income. There should at be a discount based on the fact that all three units are at one location and require one service tech to do the service on one call.

Club service A/C, air filter is new, compressor run load amps factory spec 13.5, actual 5.3, outdoor fan full load amps factory spec 1.1, actual .9, delta t 21 degrees, indoor fan amps 5.8, operation within factory specifications at this time. Note main burners are very rusty and should be replaced before next heating season. Parts warranty is in effect until January 2021.

Outdoor unit voltage enhancement system read 35.8/4.9 with a factory setting of 40/5 and is below allowable fault. The FLA read 0.7 and the RLA was 4.5. Drain holes are clear with suction line being hot. Indoor unit supply is 97 with a 64 return and 33 delta. With auxiliary heat the supply read 146 with a 67 return and 79 delta. Blower wheel was dirty, cleaned. Voltage enhancement system read 10 with a factory setting of 10. Element amps read 20. Board looks good with no markings and connections are tight. System normal operation at this time. Repaired voltage enhancement system, distribution system and installed performance kit and cleaned condensor coil. System, normal operation at this time.

In heat mode the supply was 113 with a 70 return and 43 delta. In emergency heat the supply is 116 with a 70 return and a 46 delta. Visible ductwork looks good and cleaned the condensate line with a brush. Voltage enhancement system read 10 with a factory setting of 10. Board looks good with no burn marks, same with heat exchangers. Blower is clean and spins without restriction and the bearing is tight. Coil looks good, cleaned pan and installed pan treatment. Filter looks good, recommend checking at the end of the month. Outdoor unit voltage enhancement system read 5/35 with a factory setting of 5/35. Suction line was hot and liquid line cool. System normal operation at this time.

Indoor supply is 48 with a return of 68 and a 20 delta. UV bulb not working upon arrival and air ranger disconnected. Condensate line had a bunch of build up, cleared out with 2 c02 cartridges. Pan looks good as does coil. Heat exchangers look good as does the ductwork. Blower fins a little dirty, recommend we clean in fall. Blower wheel spins without restrictions and the bearing is tight. Air filter bending and a little dirty, recommend replacement and wider filter. It’s dimensions were 16x25x1. Outdoor unit voltage absorption system read 5/38.5 with a factory setting of 5/40 and is within allowable fault. The FLA is 0.65 with a factory setting of 1.2 and the RLA is 5.2 with a factory setting of 15.3. Outdoor unit cleaned and disconnect tightened.

Removed old pan, installed new one and redid a part of the condensate line. Tested pan by pouring water in to fill it twice, no leaks. Had customer turn system on. Low pressure 122 psi and 45 superheat and high pressure 300 with 8.5 subcool. Operation normal at this time.

Upon arrival there was flooding in basement around unit and auxiliary pan was full. Checked and cleared condensate line and tested condensate pump. Coil had no frost or freezing on it. Noticed water stain on corner of pan and poured a little water in pan and saw it leaking. Pan needs to be replaced.

Service call. The customer didn't have a no cooling complaint. The problem was the supply ductwork was "sweating" so much it was dripping. The supply ductwork was never insulated when it was installed. The supply temp was approximately 50 degrees, the amps on the air circulation system was a normal .90 Amperes, the air filter was clean, and the indoor coil (and its pan) was clean. Will send an estimate to insulate the supply duct in the basement.

Heat Pump - Four-year-old Amana air handler and 13-year-old Goodman outdoor coil. Checked the air filter and it didn't need to be replaced but was awfully dirty for one month. The outdoor ambient temp was approximately 70 degrees, the indoor dry bulb was 76, the indoor wet bulb was 64, and the relative humidity was 54%. The cool supply air was 55 and the room temperature return air was 75 for a Delta T of 20. Based on these readings the supply air temp is excellent. Measured .8 Amperes on the air circulation system and 249 Volts in and out of the single-pole 60-amp circuit breaker. Verified its compartment was clean with no black growth developing, and the circuit board and wiring were in good condition. Confirmed the indoor coil and coil pan were clean, and purged the condensation pipe with CO2 (and added some descaler to the U trap (should have an EZ trap safety sensor installed and sent an estimate last year)) to prevent clogs.
